Park Min Young’s Agency Confirms Was Summoned As A Witness In Relation To Ex-Boyfriend’s Suspected Financial Fraud+ Denies Ban From Leaving The Country
Actor Park Min Young’s agency has confirmed the reports of the actress being questioned by the prosecution in relation to her ex-boyfriend’s suspected financial fraud of acquiring unfair profits from Bithumb affiliates of the virtual asset exchange.
On February 15, the agency Hook Entertainment said confirmed that Park Min Young faithfully completed the summoned prosecution’s investigation as a witness on February 13, and she is not currently banned from leaving the country.

Park Min Young faithfully completed the prosecution’s summons investigation as a simple witness on February 13 (Mon), and we confirm that she is not currently banned from leaving the country.

Earlier, the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office summoned Park Min Young as a reference to investigate whether Kang Jong Hyun, a businessman known to be his ex-boyfriend, was involved in the process of acquiring unfair profits from Bithumb affiliates. Prosecutors reportedly found that Park Min Young’s name was used in the borrowed-name transaction of convertible bonds issued by Bithumb affiliates and that hundreds of millions of won worth of profits were generated. In this regard, Park Min Young reportedly stated that she was not related to Bithumb.
