The teaser poster and teaser trailer for “Parasyte The Grey” have been released.
On March 8, Netflix unveiled new poster and video teaser for “Parasyte The Grey” starring Jeon So Nee, Koo Kyo Hwan, and Lee Jung Hyun.
The drama is set to be released this April. “Parasyte The Grey” is adapted from Iwaaki Hitoshi’s comic which was a massive hit in Japan selling millions of copies worldwide. It tells the story of a confrontation between humans who hosted an unidentified parasite that fell from the space and the ones who try to stop it. One day, mysterious parasites fall from the sky, they enter humans as their host and begin to murder other humans. These parasite create their own force and humans who have not been infected fight to stop these creatures from taking over the world.
In the teaser trailer released alongside the poster which shows Jeon So Nee, the focus is on the numerous people who have become hosts to parasitic organisms, with the statement “We are beings who can only live by parasitizing the human body.” The unidentified parasitic organisms, deeply embedded among humans with the goal of expanding their influence, begin to control the hosts’ brains and launch attacks, following the principle of “looking, thinking, and acting like humans.”
