Netflix is preparing to produce a new series called ‘Karma,’ featuring six actors including Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, and Gong Seung Yeon.

On the 9th of November, Netflix announced the production confirmation of the new series ‘Karma’ and revealed the lineup of actors through its official channel.

‘Karma’ is a crime thriller that depicts the intertwined stories of characters who are trapped in a karma they cannot escape from, even if they want to. It is the first series created by director Lee Il-hyeong, who directed ‘Inside Men’ and ‘Remember,’ in collaboration with film production companies Moonlight and Baram Pictures.

The cast includes Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, and Gong Seung Yeon. First, Park Hae Soo is expected to showcase a character with immersive tension in a new tone, following his previous roles in series such as ‘Squid Game’ and ‘Suriname.’

Shin Min Ah will transform into a doctor character with trauma and a desire for revenge caused by a childhood incident.

Lee Hee Joon will portray a character who can do anything due to being buried in debt, while Kim Sung Kyun will play a character who loses his job unfairly and becomes involved in the ‘Karma’ case.

In addition, Lee Kwang Soo will take on the role of a successful Oriental medicine doctor, and Gong Seung Yeon will transform into a femme fatale character and perform a couple’s acting with Lee Kwang Soo.

With this unique combination of six charismatic actors and delicate thriller directing, Netflix’s new series ‘Karma’ is generating high expectations.
