Ma Dong Seok will present a Hollywood film as his next project.
His agency, Big Punch Entertainment, announced on the 23rd of June that he will co-produce and star in the movie “Hell Diver.”
Ma Dong Seok made his Hollywood debut in the 2021 Marvel Studios blockbuster “Eternals.”
Based on the novel of the same name by Nicholas Sansbury Smith, “Hell Diver” is a science fiction film set in a post-apocalyptic world after the outbreak of the Third World War and the passage of two centuries.
Ma Dong Seok will play the protagonist, Xavier, who heads to Earth to obtain the last remaining parts of a spacecraft for humanity.
He expressed his joy through his agency, saying, “I’m glad to be involved as a producer. It’s an honor to portray the nuanced character of Xavier.”
Ma Dong Seok, who has established himself as a successful actor and producer in Korea with the “The Outlaws” series, is also working on other projects, including the remake of “The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil,” “Ashes,” and the Japanese remake of “The Outlaws.”
