Lee Sung Kyung First Movie Debut Is Garnering Negative Attention For This Reason
Another upcoming project is embroiled in controversy because of a drastic age gap. This time between Lee Sung Kyung and Yoo Hae Jin.
The upcoming movie “Wrestler” stars Yoo Hae Jin, Kim Min Jae, Lee Sung Kyung, Na Moon Hee, Sung Dong Il.
The film is a romantic comedy but fans couldn’t help but feel awkward because of the love line that features two actors with a huge age gap.
The movie tells the story of a former wrestler/single father (Yoo Hae Jin) who’s devoted to his son (Kim Min Jae) who works hard to become a great wrestler just like his father.
The father one day gets involved with a female friend (played by Lee Sung Kyung) whom the son has a crush on, but the woman falls in love with his father.
The upcoming movie has already wrapped filming back on October 17 and is slated to premiere in the latter half of 2018.
Netizens are not happy with the huge age gap and the love story between Yoo Hae Jin and Lee Sung Kyung, some point out that its too big of an age gap to be considered normal.
Lee Sung Kyung and Yoo Hae Jin are 20 years apart, she was born back in 1990, while Yoo Hae Jin was born back in 1970.
Do you think this huge age gap should be an issue or not?
