Rumors of actor Lee Sun Kyun attempting an extreme choice have been raised.

On the 27th of December, the Seoul Seongbuk Police Station announced that a man, believed to be Lee Sun Kyun, was found unconscious inside a car in Wangyong Park, Jongno-gu, Seoul, at around 10:30 am. The police received a 112 report at around 10:12 am stating that the husband had written a note resembling a will and left home. Upon discovering traces of drug use at the scene, the police are investigating the detailed circumstances surrounding the man’s extreme choice.

UPDATE: BREAKING: Police Confirms Lee Sun Kyun Has Died

Lee Sun Kyun was previously investigated by the police in October on charges related to the Narcotics Control Act for alleged marijuana use. He claimed to have mistakenly taken sleeping pills, thinking they were given to him by club owner Ms. A and alleged that he was extorted and had 350 million KRW stolen from him. He also filed charges against Ms. A and others for blackmail and other offenses.

Both preliminary drug tests and detailed forensic analysis by the National Forensic Service came back negative, prompting the police to intensify their investigation. In the third round of questioning, Lee Sun Kyun requested a lie detector test. He denied the charges, stating that although he did consume drugs using a straw, he believed it was a sleeping pill, not a narcotic.

Later, a representative from the agency HODU Entertainment stated to OSEN, “We are currently verifying the information.”

The police are currently verifying whether the person in question is indeed Lee Sun Kyun.

Stay tuned for updates.
