The drama “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” is set to air after the recent popular show “Queen of Tears” ended.

“The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” held its production in Seoul’s Guro-gu on the 9th. Director Ahn Pan-seok and actors Jung Ryeo Won and Wi Ha Joon attended the event and shared their thoughts.

During the presentation, Jung Ryeo Won expressed, “There is definitely pressure following a successful drama like ‘Queen of Tears,’ which received a lot of love. Our drama is also a melodrama.”

She added, “Those who watch the drama will find a certain level of official melodrama. There are buttons that need to be pressed, and if we don’t press them and continue the story, it will show a different kind of love, a different way of progressing the melodrama, which I think viewers will feel as a unique aspect.”

“The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” tells the story of star instructor Seo Hye-jin (played by Jung Ryeo Won) and her daring student, Lee Jun-ho (played by Wi Ha Joon), who becomes a new instructor. The drama depicts their exciting midnight romance. It will premiere on May 11th at 9:20 PM on tvN.
