Lee Jae Wook (25) is taking a strong stance against malicious comments. This comes after rumors and malicious comments have been circulating online regarding his relationship with aespa’s member Karina.
On the 29th of February, Lee Jae Wook’s agency, C-JeS Studio, announced, “After articles regarding Lee Jae Wook’s personal life were released, we asked for warm attention as the two individuals are carefully getting to know each other. However, we have confirmed malicious posts online that insult the actor with false information and malicious intent.” They continued, “This is a serious violation of personal rights, and our agency will take strong legal action through legal representatives.”
Previously, on the 27th, a representative from C-JeS Studio stated to MyDaily, “The two individuals are getting to know each other, and as the actor is currently filming and it is his personal life, we ask for respect and warm attention.” Similarly, a representative from Karina’s agency, SM Entertainment, also stated that they are getting to know each other after admitting to their relationship.
Their relationship was revealed through a report by Dispatch, stating that they met at a luxury brand collection event in January and developed into a romantic relationship.
Despite being a relationship that should be congratulated, there has been a significant backlash. Some fans of Karina, who is considered the ‘representative visual of the 4th generation girl group,’ have shown strong reactions, and there has been a noticeable increase in malicious comments towards Lee Jae Wook.
