Actor Lee Jae Wook is being considered for the lead role in the new drama “Tangeum”.
C-JeS Studios said in a phone call with Dispatch on April 19th, “Lee Jae Wook has been offered ‘Tangeum’ and is reviewing it.”
“Tangeum” is a mystery suspense romance based on a novel written by Jang Da Hye. The background is the Joseon Dynasty.
Hong Rang, the only son of Sim Yeol Guk, the foremost merchant in Joseon, goes missing at the age of 8. He returns after 10 years. It is the story of the character with faith and doubt towards him.
Lee Jae Wook has been offered the role of Hong Rang. He is a cold-blooded man full of despair and hatred. He meets his half-brother, Jae Yi, and faces a change.
“Tangeum” is produced by Ace Maker and Netflix’s “Money Heist” director Kim Hong Sun is in charge of directing. The script is written by Kim Jin Ah, the writer of Apple TV’s “Doctor Brain”.
