Lee Beom Soo’s Wife and interpreter Lee Yoon Jin, who are in the process of divorcing after 14 years of marriage, have recently made headlines with Lee Yoon Jin’s revealing post.
On the 16th of March, news of Lee Beom Soo and Lee Yoon Jin’s divorce was reported, and the two had their first divorce mediation session on the 18th.
While both sides confirmed their differing positions, a representative from Lee Beom Soo’s agency, Y-One Entertainment, stated, “As this is a private matter of the actor, we ask for your understanding that we cannot provide detailed information about the divorce process.”
Amidst this, Lee Yoon Jin has garnered attention by posting multiple times to her SNS about her current situation and recently, she exposed the reality she’s been living in and her struggles in getting a divorce. Alleging she’s been trying to get a divorce for about a year but her estranged husband refuses to cooperate.
She expressed, “It’s not something that can be resolved by cutting off financial support and firmly closing the household… If there’s even just one friend around him whom he can communicate with, I hope they convey my sincere feelings.”
She continued, adding to the shock by revealing, “The bizarre double life, secretive hobbies, filling up locks, and treasuring things so dearly, even the phones hidden in socks for secret use, this is deceit and betrayal towards the family that I gave my all to. It has been a year of just dragging time with momentary avoidance and escape. They say even brushing past someone is a connection, so even if we part ways from this precious bond, can I still remain a good parent, a friend? Was I such an inadequate person that I have to look back every day shedding tears?”
Furthermore, She disclosed a financial crisis, saying, “Helping each other out during tough times in a marriage is natural, so when he was struggling, I sold off the wedding ring and gifts. And when there were circumstances I couldn’t speak about due to the husband’s pride, I worked even harder. He said he’s not worried about celebrities, but in reality, he overcame a financial crisis by emptying his parents’ bank account, who are in their seventies.
