Actress Ku Hye Sun filed a lawsuit against her former agency, demanding unpaid appearance fees and more, but she ended up losing the case.
According to legal sources on the 18th of June, Judge Park Chan-seok of the 63rd Civil Conciliation Division of the Seoul Central District Court ruled against Ku Hye Sun in her damages lawsuit against her former agency, HB Entertainment, ordering her to pay approximately 170 million won.
The court stated, “All claims are rejected,” resulting in the plaintiff’s defeat. In 2019, during the process of divorcing her ex-husband Ahn Jae Hyun (36), Ku Hye Sun notified her agency of the termination of her exclusive contract.
However, she later filed an additional lawsuit in 2020, claiming that she should be paid approximately 100 million won for appearance fees and profits from the YouTube videos she uploaded during her time with the former agency.
