Netflix confirmed the production of “In the Woods With No One” and announced the casting of Kim Yoon Seok, Yoon Kye Sang, Go Min Si, and Lee Jung Eun on February 20th.
Netflix is working with Mo Wan Il, director of the dramas “The World of the Married” and “Misty”, to produce a new series “In the Woods With No One”. The new series is a mystery thriller in which a small hotel owner struggles to protect his precious life when a suspicious woman appears at his hotel one summer.
Veteran actors have confirmed their appearances. Kim Yoon Seok plays the role of Jeon Yeong Ha, the owner of the hotel. Young Ha, who runs a hotel nestled in a deep forest, is disturbed by a mysterious woman, Seong Ah, who comes as a guest one day.
Yoon Kye Sang plays Gu Sang Joon, a former motel owner. Sang Joon is a character who loses everything he holds dear due to an incident that took place at a motel in the early summer of the 2000s and Yoo Seong Ah, who threatens Young Ha’s daily life, is played by Go Min Si. Seong Ah is strangely obsessed with Young Ha’s hotel, and she causes a great stir in Young Ha’s peaceful life.
Yoon Bo Min, a former homicide ace who persistently digs into a case and solves it as a kind of play, is played by Lee Jung Eun. Bo Min, who worked at the village police office 20 years ago, is appointed as the police chief over time.
“In the Woods With No One” is a fresh story about the different choices of Young Ha, the current hotel owner, and Sang Joon, the former motel owner, two men who live in different time zones but face similar life-changing events. It will arouse curiosity and present original mystery and thrill.
Director Mo Wan Il, who won the TV category directing award at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards for “The World of the Married” and proved his outstanding ability in the psychological thriller genre, takes on the direction and adds to expectations.
“In the Forest With No One” is scheduled to be released in 190 countries around the world through Netflix.
