Kim Nam Gil and Kim Young Kwang will join forces for the Netflix original series ‘Trigger’.

On the 25th of October, Netflix announced that they have cast Kim Nam Gil and Kim Young Kwang for the new original series ‘Trigger’ and will begin production.

‘Trigger’ is an action disaster thriller that tells the story of two men who pick up guns for their own reasons amidst the continuous occurrence of gun incidents caused by illegally delivered guns with unknown origins in gun-free South Korea.

‘Trigger’, which deals with unimaginable chain gun incidents in today’s South Korea where gun possession is legally prohibited, is expected to surprise fans worldwide with its fresh setting and well-crafted story. Especially, the gun action and pursuit of chain gun incidents that will unfold in the center of Seoul will showcase a huge scale, high completion, and dazzling visuals.

Kim Nam Gil will play the role of Lee Do, who struggles to prevent chain gun incidents. Lee Do is a former soldier who worked as a sniper and is currently a passionate police officer chasing the origins of illegal guns at the center of the ongoing gun incidents.

Kim Young Kwang will portray Mun-baek, a key figure in the world of weapons brokers. Despite appearing nonchalant, Kim Young Kwang will perfectly embody the duality of Mun-baek, who meticulously executes his plans, and showcase a different charm.
