Netflix is introducing a new global series with the casting of Kim Go Eun, Park Ji Hyun, and Kim Gun Woo.
On the 18th of January, Netflix announced through its official channel that it will produce a new series called “Two Women” (working title) starring Kim Go Eun, Park Ji Hyun, and Kim Gun Woo.
“Two Women” is an emotional drama planned and produced by Kakao Entertainment. It is a collaboration between director Jo Young Min, who worked on “Brilliant Legacy” and “Understanding of Love,” and writer Song Hye Jin, who worked on ” The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.” It tells the story of Eun Jung and Sang Yeon, two friends who love, envy, and hate each other throughout their lives.
Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun will play the key roles of Eun Jung and Sang Yeon, respectively. Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun are expected to create a unique synergy with their different acting styles.
In addition, attention is drawn to the emotional conflict between Eun Jung and Sang Yeon, starting with their senior in college, Kim Sang Hak (played by Kim Gun Woo), and the story of Eun Jung, a drama writer, and Sang Yeon, a filmmaker with terminal cancer, reflecting on their lives together. The drama is expected to deeply explore the inner conflicts and purification messages of human nature.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s new series “Two Women” will officially begin production along with the main cast.
