Through the JTBC drama ‘SKY Castle’, actress Kim Bo Ra (28) has risen to stardom and will be getting married in June to film director Jo Ba Reun (35) who is 7 years older than her.
On the 5th of March, a representative from Kim Bo Ra’s agency NUN Company announced, ” Kim Bo Ra will be holding her wedding with director Jo Ba Reun in June.”
Kim Bo Ra met director Jo through his film “The Night Shift” and their relationship developed into lovers. They quietly continued their dates while only revealing their relationship to close acquaintances.
Kim Bo Ra began her acting career as a child actress in the drama ‘Wedding’ in 2005. She has since appeared in dramas such as ‘Bel Ami’, ‘Who Are You: School 2015’, and more, and gained recognition for her role as Kim Hye-na in the 2018 JTBC drama ‘SKY Castle’. She has also appeared in various other dramas and movies since then.
Director Jo Ba Reun debuted in 2017, receiving the Korean Fantastic Short Film Award at the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. He has directed films like ‘Gang’, ‘Blow Up the Wind’, ‘The Odd Family’, showcasing his talent in filmmaking.
