Kang Ha Neul Writes A Heartfelt Goodbye Letters To Fans Before Enlisting In The Military
It is official, Kang Ha Neul has enlisted in the military earlier today.
As a goodbye message, he posted one last Instagram photo of him happily smiling, he shared a long heartfelt letters to fans thanking them for loving him and promising to return healthy in two years.
He wrote:
“Back in College when I was a freshman I met these friends. When I became an old man in college I met some younger friends as well. I have known them for about 8 to 10 years.
A long time ago, I used to think ‘when I enlist I want my friends to shave my head,’ and we did it. It was a really memorable moment; it was a moment I won’t forget for the rest of my life. To my friends, thank you so much.
This Instagram post will probably be the last one I post in my 20s. I don’t post much.. and when I come back I will be in my 30s. I know that 30s is not that old, but I am trying to give a meaning to my last post in my 20s.
Looking back on my 20s, so much has happened, thinking of those times I feel like no moment went in vain. It’s a collection of so many cherished moments. There was no work I didn’t enjoy and love making, that is a huge blessing.
When I look back at it, it gives me warmth and strength. I want to give a kiss to my filmography.
Even now, I am still getting calls and texts from people who have always supported me and cared for me. Please don’t worry. The world is a reflection of your mood. If you’re happy, great things will come your way.
A new environment, people and energy. I will be looking forward to those things. I will spend my two years happily and I will be back. Right… its not even two years anymore.
To all the people who know me and everyone I know, I wish you that you’ll spend the happiest days of your life in the future. I will stop now… saying a brief goodbye to my cell phone as well.
I’ll be back.”
In the Instagram post, the actor got a hair cut from his long time friends he talked about in his heartfelt letter to fans.
He will serve in the military for 21 months as a military police officer.
We’ll see you in 2 years oppa!
