“Joseon Exorcist” Cast Deletes All Traces Of The Drama Filming From Their Social Media
Following the cancellation of SBS’s controversial drama “Joseon Exorcist,” netizens have noticed that the cast has deleted all traces of the drama filming from their social media accounts.
“Joseon Exorcist” became controversial soon after it aired its first episode, it was under fire for using Chinese props and for distorting history. Two days after the premiere of the drama, SBS announced its decision to cancel it and take it off air.
Since the controversy broke over the past week, netizens have taken a look at “Joseon Exorcist” cast Instagram accounts and noticed that many of the actors have already deleted all traces of them filming the drama or being on set.
This includes Jang Dong Yoon, Dongjun, Jung Hye Sung, Lee Yoo Bi, and many more. They’ve deleted photos, videos and all descriptions of the drama from their profiles.
The mounting criticism against the drama has also spilled over to the cast, as many netizens think the actors shouldn’t be free of blame for choosing the drama.
Since then, Jang Dong Yoon, Park Sung Hoon and Lee Yoo Bi have issued public apology statements for choosing the drama without much consideration. Jang Dong Yoon released a statement via his agency while Lee Yoo Bi and Park Sung Hoon issued a personal apology to their Instagram account.
