Disney+ has confirmed the release of the second half of ‘Gangnam B-Side’ featuring explosive performances by Jo Woo Jin, Ji Chang Wook, and Ha Yoon Kyung.
The Disney+ original series ‘Gangnam B-Side’ is set to be released in the second half of 2024. ‘Gangnam B-Side’ is a crime drama that follows a fallen elite detective, a disgraced prosecutor, and a mysterious broker as they chase after the dark cartel that controls the glamorous nights of Gangnam. Fans are eagerly anticipating the reunion of Jo Woo Jin and Ji Chang Wook, who will once again bring fiery acting synergy together after their collaboration in the 2021 film ‘The Call’.
Jo Woo Jin takes on the role of Kang Dong Woo, a former elite detective who falls from grace overnight. Kang Dong Woo, known for his relentless pursuit once he sets his mind on something, finds himself deeply entangled in unexpected incidents.
Ji Chang Wook portrays Yoon Gil Ho, the enigmatic broker who holds power in Gangnam. Yoon Gil Ho has survived in the darkest corners of the city, living a life from the bottom up to ensure his survival.
Ha Yoon Kyung joins the cast to bring a fresh perspective to the drama. In this series, she plays Min Seo, a prosecutor from a provincial university who is determined to climb the ranks in the Prosecution Office.
Park Nu Ri, known for directing and writing the film ‘Money’, takes the helm as the director. Adding to the excitement, Ju Won Gyu, who was involved in the planning of the drama ‘Argon’ is in charge of the script.
