The drama starring Jo Jung Suk and Shin Se Kyung, “Captivating The King” (working title), has confirmed its first broadcast date on tvN.
According to tvN, it will air on January 21, 2024, with the first and second episodes being broadcast consecutively.
The drama tells the story of Lee In (played by Jo Jung Suk), a king in a high position but with a humble heart, and Kang Hee-soo (played by Shin Se Kyung), who initially dreams of revenge against him but becomes entranced by his cruel destiny.
The revealed poster features Jo Jung Suk (as Lee In) and Shin Se Kyung (as Kang Hee-soo) facing each other while playing a game of Baduk.
