Jo Jung Suk And Shin Se Kyung Confirmed For Upcoming Historical Drama
Actors Jo Jung Suk and Shin Se Kyung will be starring in a historical romance drama.
According to tvN on the 31st of October, “‘Sejak’ is scheduled to be aired on tvN in January next year. The specific date is yet to be determined.”
‘Sejak’ is a drama that depicts the cruel love story of Saejak Kang Hee Soo, who approaches King Yi In for revenge but eventually falls for him, amidst political crises such as power struggles. It has been gaining attention even before its broadcast due to the collaboration of writer Kim Sun Deok, who wrote the tvN drama ‘The Crowned Clown’, and director Jo Nam Guk, who created the ‘Bad Detective’ series.
Jo Jung Suk will play the role of King Yi In, and Shin Se Kyung will portray Kang Hee Soo. Above all, Jo Jung Suk is garnering high expectations as he returns to the small screen after about three years since the SBS drama ‘Hospital Playlist Season 2’ in 2021. Shin Se Kyung recently showcased her talent in the tvN drama “Arthdal Chronicles 2” as the character Tan Ya.
Meanwhile, ‘Sejak’ aims to premiere in January 2024.
