The new historical drama “River Where The Moon Rises” is up to a great start!
On February 15, the new KBS historical drama “River Where The Moon Rises” premiered to high ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “River Where The Moon Rises” scored average nationwide ratings of 6.5% and 9.4%, higher than the previous premiere ratings of “Royal Secret Agent,” which enjoyed great ratings throughout its run.
The new drama stars Kim So Hyun as Princess Pyeonggang and Ji Soo as On Dal in a reinterpretation of a classic Goguryeo folk tale.
KBS’s newly released daily drama “Miss Monte-Cristo” also premiered to good ratings, the drama aired in an earlier time slot last night and scored 14.6% in ratings, also higher than the premiere of the previous daily drama in its time slot.
Meanwhile, tvN’s “L.U.C.A.: The Beginning” continues to hold steady with 5.3% in ratings, while JTBC’s “She Would Never Know” recorded ratings of 1.816%.
