JTBC has unveiled the casting for one of its 2024 dramas, “Prefabricated Family”!
JTBC’s new drama “Prefabricated Family” is a youth romance that unfolds when thre people, who grew up together as family during their teenage years, reunite after 10 years. Popular actors Hwang In Yeop, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyun Sung have been confirmed to star, completing a lineup full of youthful energy.
First, Hwang In Yeop will play the role of Kim San-ha, who has a likeable appearance and seems to have no flaws. Kim San-ha left Yoon Joo-won (played by Jung Chaeyeon) and Kang Hae-joon (played by Bae Hyun Sung), who grew up like siblings, when they were young, but he appears before them again after 10 years.
Jung Chaeyeon plays the role of Yoon Joo-won, who is positive and strong-willed. Yoon Joo-won was raised with love under the care of her father who runs a knife-cut noodle restaurant. She considers Kim San-ha (Hwang In Yeop) and Kang Hae-joon as her real family, no matter what others say.
Bae Hyun-sung plays the character Kang Hae-joon. Despite going through various hardships since childhood, Kang Hae-joon, who is bright and has a lot of aegyo (cute actions), sincerely likes and follows those who have taken care of him like family. In particular, as a passionate basketball player who is willing to do anything for Yoon Joo-won’s father as a way to repay him.
With this, “Prefabricated Family” promises a youthful romance full of the freshness of Kim San-ha, Yoon Joo-won, and Kang Hae-joon, who grew up together and shared a closer bond than blood due to their own stories. The story of the three people who were both family and first love, as well as their reunion after 10 years, raises curiosity.
