Kwon Jin Young, CEO of Hook Entertainment, has said that she will take full responsibility regarding the dispute with Lee Seung Gi over the settlement of his music fees.

On November 30, CEO Kwon Jin Young personally addressed the dispute with Lee Seung Gi and said that she will take full responsibility of the situation even if she has to use her personal property and apologized to the employees and celebrities under Hook Entertainment.

Check out the full statement of CEO Kwon Jin Young below:

“I lived as a manager for 25 years. There have been many things, but I think I’ve never experienced anything as hard as this situation. I think responsibility should be taken at the beginning and end of any dispute or misunderstanding. I don’t want to cause any damage to Hook Entertainment, the company I’ve been working for 25 years, and to my celebrities now. I bow my head again and apologize. I will bend myself to a lower position to take full responsibility for the dispute with Lee Seung Gi and dispose of my personal property without avoiding the responsibility I have to bear. I am sorry to our Hook Entertainment employees, who were living in hell every day due to this sudden incident, and once again, I’m sorry to everyone who heard the news that they did not want to see due to this incident.”

Lee Seung Gi has recently been engaged in a battle for truth due to a dispute with his agency Hook Entertainment over the unpaid settlement of music fees.

Earlier, Lee Seung Gi demanded for proof of contents from his agency through the law firm Pacific Ocean on November 17, saying that he had not properly received the proceeds of his music for over 18 years when he signed an exclusive contract with Hook Entertainment. Earlier, Hook Entertainment was in the middle of controversy after being raided by the National Police Agency.

However, on November 23, Dispatch released an alleged audio recording, which is the conversation between CEO Kwon, the director of Hook Entertainment, and the manager of Lee Seung Gi at a meeting on November 17, which caused a stir and the repercussions grew. Later, Hook Entertainment announced that the claims regarding not paying music profit earnings are false and they have cleared all debt relations between the parties when they renewed the contract with Lee Seung Gi around 2021. However, the legal representative Lee Seung Gii refuted Hook Entertainment’s statement and concluded that any further discussion with the agency is meaningless.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi has been filming the movie “The Great Family” since early this month.
