Its been 13 years since “Coffee Prince” aired!

While fans fondly remember the drama, many of them are shocked to find out that one of the drama cast members had tragically passed away shortly after the drama aired.

Actor Lee Eon lost his life in a motorcycle accident in 2008; it had only been a year since the drama came out. At the time, netizens were shocked to learn of his sudden passing. Lee Eon was only 27 years old at the time.

The crew and cast of “Coffee Prince” had grown closer after filming and during the recently released documentary, the cast talked about his tragic passing.

Kim Dong Wook and Kim Jae Wook shared that they believe Lee Eon was gone too soon, but despite his short life, he was able to do what wanted. The camera then zoomed at Gong Yoo who teared up taking a look at what Kim Dong Wook and Kim Jae Wook said about Lee Eon. It is known that Gong Yoo was very fond of Lee Eon and treated him like a real brother. It was revealed that the cast and crew didn’t talk about him for some time since they were deeply affected by his tragic passing.

The second part of the documentary will discuss the passing of Lee Eon.
