We finally have our first look at the highly anticipated spin-off series of “Hospital Playlist,” “A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday” (literal title).
One of tvN’s all-time highest-grossing dramas, “Hospital Playlist” is returning as a spin-off series. “A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday” depicts the real-life experiences and friendship stories of professors and majors in a high-level general hospital. “The best rising actor,” Go Yoon Jung, has been confirmed to appear as a first-year major at Yulje Maternity Hospital in Jongno, attracting hot attention.
In addition, the casting of rising stars such as Shin Seo Jin, Kang You Seok, Han Ye Ji, and Jung Joon Won is capturing attention. Director Shin Won-ho and writer Lee Woo-jung, who have presented life works with resonating stories, wit and humor strategically placed, and unique empathy-rich materials participate as creators.
Director Lee Min-soo, who directed “Reply 1988” and “Hospital Playlist,” and writer Kim Song-hee, who participated as an assistant writer in the latter, are also joining forces.
The drama is set to air in 2024.
