EXO Xiumin has confirmed his appearance in the upcoming drama “President Idol Mart.”
On September 14, the singer’s agency SM Entertainment told Exports News, “Xiumin starred in the new drama ‘President Idol Mart’.”
“President Idol Mart” is a drama consisting of various episodes that take place when former idol group members gather to run a mart. Web drama “Best Mistake” PD Lee Yoo Yeon will direct the series.
Xiumin tried his first acting role in the six-episodes web drama ‘Falling for Challenge” in 2015. Since then, he has shown his acting on the screen with the movie “Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River” in 2016.
The programming and airing of “President Idol Mart” are still under discussion.
Meanwhile, Xiumin will release his first solo album “Brand New” on September 26.
