Actor Cha Tae Hyun has addressed his wife’s health condition, stating that it is not serious.

On the 29th of September, during the broadcast of JTBC’s variety show “Express Delivery Mongolia Edition”, the members including Kim Jong Kook, Jang Hyuk, Cha Tae Hyun and more were shown making their sixth delivery.

The recipient and the destination of the package were none other than the members themselves. The members shed tears as they opened the letters and gifts sent to them. Among them, Cha Tae Hyun, who was the last to read his letter, attracted attention as tears welled up in his eyes even before opening it, saying, “I can’t do this.”

The letter was from Cha Tae Hyun’s wife and contained messages such as “It’s been already 30 years since we met, dated, and got married. Time has passed so quickly. Thank you for always loving and taking care of me. I’ve been feeling a bit sick lately, and you’ve been taking care of our children and me. I’m always sorry, and I want to get better soon so I can do well.” After reading the letter, Cha Tae Hyun shed tears and said, “My wife has been feeling unwell lately. There are personal reasons.”

In relation to this, a representative from Cha Tae Hyun’s agency, Blossom Entertainment, stated during a phone call with OSEN, “After checking, we found out that his wife, Choi Seok-eun, is not seriously ill. It seems like the change of seasons affected her condition a bit. There is no specific illness or anything like that.” They reassured that it is not a serious situation.

Cha Tae Hyun got married to his first love, his wife, in 2006, and they have one son and two daughters.
