Ahn Jae Hyun Replaces Kwak Si Yang In An Upcoming Drama After The Latter Drops Out

Actor Ahn Jae Hyun returns to the small screen with “The Real One Appears”. 

His agency, HB Entertainment, told xports News on December  22nd, “Ahn Jae Hyun will appear in KBS 2TV’s new weekend drama “The Real One Appears”’ as Gong Tae Kyung.” 

“The Real One Appears” is a drama about a fake contract romance between a single mother and an unmarried man surrounding a baby in her belly, and the tumultuous growth of these families who become ‘Avengers’ through pregnancy, childbirth and childrearing.

Ahn Jae Hyun takes on the role of Gong Tae Kyung, an obstetrician and gynaecologist who specializes in infertility clinics. Although he has a beautiful appearance and superior genes, he is non-marriageable to the bone. He is a person who encounters a once-in-a-lifetime incident when he meets Oh Yeon Du, a first-time patient. Baek Jin Hee is cast for the role of Oh Yeon Du. 

Initially, Kwak Si Yang was cast for this role but inevitably got off due to the schedule of the movie “Desperate Pursuit”. Kwak Si Yang took on the male lead in “Desperate Pursuit” and started filming on December 19th.

Ahn Jae Hyun returns with new work 3 years after 2019’s “Love With Flaws” with “The Real One Appears”. It is his first KBS 2TV work in 8 years since “Blood” in 2015. 

“The Real One Appears” is scheduled to air in 2023 following “Three Siblings Bravely”.
