Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun have confirmed their appearance for the upcoming 2024 KDrama
‘Chaebol X Detective’ depicts a powerful team of a third-generation chaebol who becomes a strong detective, showcasing a “money for money, power for power” FLEX investigation. Writer Kim Bada, who wrote ‘My Name’, and director Kim Jae Hong, who co-directed ‘Mind Readers’ and ‘Evil Spirit’, have teamed up for this project.
Ahn Bo Hyun plays Jin Yi-soo, a carefree third-generation chaebol and a parachute detective. Jin Yi-soo, who uses the chaebol’s immense wealth and connections, as well as his quick thinking and various activity skills acquired while having fun, becomes a chaebol who catches other chaebols.
Park Ji Hyun takes on the role as Lee Kang-hyun, a detective enthusiast and the first female team leader in the powerful department. Lee Kang-hyun is a veteran detective who risks her life to arrest criminals, and she is a character who possesses both toughness and tenderness in her social life. However, her detective career takes a significant turn when she unexpectedly becomes partners with Jin Yi-soo, who is a thorn to her.
Furthermore, the chemistry between Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun, who once again collaborate in acting, is also noteworthy. The two previously showcased a perfect disguise as close friends in the drama ‘Yumi’s Cells’, capturing viewers’ full attention and displaying their proven chemistry.
