Jae Hee, who has been accused of fraud, has posted a message expressing his feelings.
On the 28th of February, Jae Hee posted a message on his channel saying, “I am sorry for hurting the hearts of many people who have kindly supported me with one-sided words that do not reflect the truth. I will do my best to reveal the truth” and expressed his unjust feelings by saying, “Actors are not fools.”
Earlier that day, it was reported that Jae Hee’s former manager, Mr. A, recently reported Jae Hee to the Namnyangju South Police Station for fraud. In February last year, Jae Hee is reported to have borrowed a total of 60 million won [$44,888] from A to open his acting academy but did not repay it and cut off contact.
Even after opening the acting academy, Jae Hee is alleged to have postponed the repayment date to A and cut off all contact with A since December last year. After borrowing the money, Jae Hee is said to have later demanded the termination of his exclusive contract with the entertainment agency where A worked. He claimed that he would repay the borrowed money with the signing bonus from another entertainment agency. This left A feeling betrayed.
Especially since Jae Hee recently opened a personal YouTube channel and shared his current situation, many people were surprised by the sudden fraud accusation. Jae Hee did not provide a detailed explanation on his social media, but as he appealed for unfairness, attention is focused on what his next move will be.
Jae Hee made his acting debut in 1997 with the MBC drama “Mountain” and gained popularity after appearing in the 2005 KBS2 drama “Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang.”
