2PM’s Nichkhun is set to make his Hollywood debut in the film “The Modelizer,” which will be released in North America on July 14th.
“The Modelizer” is a romantic comedy set in Hong Kong, depicting the story of Shawn, a young man with contrasting values who meets the model Camila and discovers the true meaning of love. Directed by Keoni Waxman and starring Byron Mann, known for his roles in films such as “The Big Short” and the Netflix series “Altered Carbon,” the film features Nichkhun in the role of Shawn’s close friend Bucky, who attracts attention with his charming appearance and sociable personality, enjoying parties as the scion of a prominent Thai-Chinese family.
Due to Camila, their friendship becomes strained, but Bucky does his best to maintain their relationship and learns the value of friendship in the process. In the recently released official trailer, Nichkhun captivates viewers with his lively party scenes and perfectly embodies the character of Bucky with his affectionate voice and gaze.
“The Modelizer” is Nichkhun’s new work following his appearance in the Thai film “Cracked” in 2022 and the drama “Finding the Rainbow.”
