24-Year-Old Famous Voice Actor Lee Woo Ri Passes Away

The news of voice actor Lee Woo Ri’s death was belatedly announced. He was 24 years old.

On the 15th of March, voice actor Lee Dal Rae announced through his account, “It is with great sadness that we inform you that our precious youngest member of Toonyverse 11th generation, the late Lee Woo Ri, passed away on March 14th.”

The deceased was born in 2000 and joined CJ ENM Voice Actors Association as the 11th generation in 2021. He became the youngest male voice actor in Korean history to pass.

Lee Woo Ri participated in works such as ‘Detective Conan,’ ‘Crayon Shin-chan,’ and ‘SpongeBob SquarePants,’ and met the public as the voice of Xinyan in the game ‘Genshin Impact.’

With great sorrow, we inform you that our precious youngest member of Toonyverse 11th generation, the late Lee Woo Ri, passed away on March 14th.
It is difficult for fellow voice actors and staff to hide their sadness at the sudden and tragic news.
At the request of the bereaved family, we are sharing the final news of the deceased, who cherished and loved his fans. The funeral will be mainly for family and colleagues.
We ask for your prayers so that we, his fellow voice actors who love Lee Woo Ri and remember his performances, can peacefully bid farewell to him there.
