Singer-actor Rain’s agency has confirmed that they have completed the first complaint regarding rumors of him having an affair.
On October 17, Rain Company said that they have completed the first complaint by requesting a police investigation of YouTubers and writers who circulated false information or rumors related to their artists on every community, cafe, and SNS of portal sites and will continue to request for the second and third investigations while emphasizing that they will not be lenient.

“We have completed the first complaint by requesting a police investigation of YouTubers and writers who circulated false information or rumors related to our artists on every community, cafe, and SNS of portal sites. By steady monitoring without any stop, we are informing you that we will continue to request the second and third investigations of YouTubers and writers who made false facts, slander, and insulting remarks using artists-related rumors, so there will be no leniency.”

In response, Rain Company said, “We recognized rumors and ‘unverified gossip,’ but decided that responding was unnecessary since it was a clearly false rumor which was not worth responding to. However, as rumors began to spread rapidly, we confirmed that personal attacks and accusations against artists as well as their families were indiscriminately made. We will take strong action without leniency by holding the one who is responsible for defamation, illegal information distribution, and false dissemination through transmission under the Information and Communication Network Act.”
