tvN has released a new poster for their upcoming drama “Alchemy of Souls”!

“Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama taking place in a fictional nation named Daeho, a country that doesn’t exist in history or maps. The story will follow a set of main characters whose fates get twisted due to magic that switches people’s souls.

Lee Jae Wook is taking on the role of the sophisticated yet troublesome young master Jang Wook of the Jang family within Daeho nation. He’s a character that has a tragic background, the entire nation gossips about his shocking birth secret. He’s angry with the world but returns to the proper path after meeting assassin Mu Deok Yi.

Jung So Min will take on the role of Mu Deok Yi, a great assassin stuck in the world’s weakest body. She becomes Jang Wook’s attendant and secret mentor, she teaches him in a brutal manner.

The newly released poster introduces us to a unique relationship forming between Jang Wook and Mu Deok Ki. The noble young master Jang Wook is kneeling on his knees in front of his teacher Deok Ki in the middle of a green bamboo forest, the courtesy and respect he has for his teacher are shown through his polite actions. Meanwhile, the confident Deok Ki is standing tall with her powerful pose and her sharp eyes. The text reads, “I recognized you at first sight, my crazy teacher,” foreshadowing an unusual relationship forming between these two characters.
