Rookie actress Jung Ho Yeon has achieved a new record with her Instagram following.
The rookie actress made her debut in the hit Netflix drama “Squid Game.” The drama has become a massive success and managed to top streaming rankings in all 83 countries where Netflix operates. The drama is well on it’s way to become Netflix’s most successful drama.
Since the drama premiered roughly 3 weeks ago, all of its cast has seen a sharp increase in their Instagram following. Jung Ho Yeon who had roughly 400,000 followers before the drama aired managed to gain more than 1 million followers in a day.
She also recently surpassed 10 million followers.
As of this writing, Jung Ho Yeon’s Instagram account sits at 13.1 million followers meaning she is now the most followed Korean actress on the platform. She surpassed Song Hye Kyo for the number 2 spot earlier today and has now surpassed Lee Sung Kyung to enter the number one spot. Lee Sung Kyung was the most followed Korean actress on Instagram with 12.9 million followers.
