BTS’s leader RM has recently released his playlist to the public on October 23 at 12 a.m. KST; the playlist titled “Mono” has a total of 7 tracks, three of which are collaborations with other Korean and international artists.

Fans loved the playlist and helped trend it worldwide to celebrate its release, “Mono” topped the iTunes Top Albums charts in 88 countries and regions internationally such as United States, Thailand, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany, and Chile.

With that achievement, he set a new record not only for a soloist but all Korean artists; he now holds the record with the most number ones on iTunes top albums chart around the world. He broke his own group’s record which they had achieved with the album “Love Yourself: Answer” which was released on August 24.

“Mono” has also entered Billboard 200 at number 26 for the week ending on November 3, 2018, which means that he also broke J-Hope’s record that he had achieved earlier this year with “Hope World” which had debuted at number 38.

Not only that but “Mono” became the highest ranking ever achieved by a Korean solo artist, RM broke his own group-mate record and set a new one for all Korean soloists to follow.

Fans showed love and support for the leader who released a masterpiece playlist for fans for free; the fandom tried their best to show their gratitude by helping him break all those records.

Congratulations RM!
