YouTube Finally Confirms “Boy With Luv” Record Breaking 24 Hour Debut On Its Platform
BTS’s newest hit track “Boy With Luv” feat. Halsey was previously confirmed to be the biggest music video debut on YouTube.
On April 13, YouTube congratulated BTS confirming they had the most viewed music video in the first 24 hours but told fans that they were still running the numbers.
On April 15, YouTube confirmed to Billboard the actual number. “Boy With Luv” registered 74.6 million views in the first 24 hours, it is also the fastest music video on the site to reach 100 million views, it reached this milestone in 1 day, 14 hours and 15 minutes.

The initial record reported by various fan accounts was approximately 78.1 million views. The actual record is approx. 4 million views less.
This means that “Boy With Luv” shattered BLACKPINK “Kill This Love” record which they had set last week. “Kill This Love” registered 56.7 million views in the first 24 hours according to YouTube.
