The new JTBC weekend drama, “She Is Different Day and Night” has revealed its main cast lineup!
Director Lee Hyung Min, who has created numerous dramas such as KBS 2TV’s “Sorry, I Love You” and JTBC’s “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” has taken on the directing role, raising expectations for the drama. In addition, the combination of the charismatic Choi Jin Hyuk, known for his strong presence, and Jung Eun Ji, who displays a realistic acting talent, promises an amazing synergy.
Lee Jung Eun will portray the character of Lim Soon, a 50-year-old woman who works as a public intern when the sun rises. Despite being from the 586 generation, she is like the MZ (Millennial and Z) generation in terms of her capabilities. She can handle various tasks efficiently, even if it means working around the clock. While she demonstrates the highest level of social skills in her professional life, she possesses a mindset similar to that of the younger generation, who leave work like the wind. Lee Jung Eun’s transformation into the legendary intern character, Lim Soon, in the public sector has piqued curiosity.
Apink’s Eunji portrays Im Jin, who transforms from a 50-year-old intern to a youthful and beautiful job-seeking student when the sun sets. Im Jin has spent eight years preparing for employment through various part-time jobs, civil service exams, and acquiring qualifications. Despite experiencing numerous failures, she suddenly faces a tragic aging process, aging 30 years overnight, and uses this as an opportunity to succeed in getting employed.
Choi Jin Hyuk will play the role of Gae Ji Wung, a narcotics investigator who becomes involved with both Lim Soon and Im Jin, intertwining day and night. With an impressive resume, high academic achievements, and high-quality visuals, he is a perfectionist who does not tolerate mistakes, a workaholic who works tirelessly throughout the year.
The JTBC weekend drama “She Is Different Day And Night” will premiere in June.
