YG Entertainment Stock Price has taken a hit following a report about BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s potential contract renewal talks falling through.

On the 14th, a media outlet reported that the idol has turned down YG’s second offer to renew valued at 50 billion won [around $37 million]. On the 15th, YG attempted to soothe speculations by releasing a statement, “Lisa’s contract renewal is currently under discussion. There is nothing in those rumors that has been confirmed.”

On the morning of the 15th, the stock price declined by as much as 9%, a sharp decline following the said reports. The stock closed at a 2.94% loss at the end of the day after YG released a statement.
