TWICE has achieved an impressive feat with their upcoming world tour “READY TO BE.”

According to the agency JYP Entertainment on March 24, all tickets were sold out for TWICE’s SoFi Stadium concert reservation on March 22 (local time).

SoFi Stadium is a large concert hall that can accommodate around 50,000 people. Among K-pop groups, BTS was the first one to perform and sell out concerts there. Among K-pop girl groups, TWICE will be the first one to perform for the first time on June 10. It is part of their fifth world tour “READY TO BE”.

Earlier, TWICE set a record for the first U.S. stadium performance by a K-pop girl group as an encore performance during their fourth world tour “Three” at the LA Bank of California Stadium in May last year. The concert was also sold out at the time. As a result, TWICE has set a record for two consecutive sold-out North American Stadium concerts.

Through “READY TO BE,” TWICE also sold out all tickets in four North American regions besides LA and Australia. The concerts, which were originally scheduled to be held once in Sydney, Melbourne, Australia, Oakland, Houston, Chicago, and Toronto, Canada, were quickly added after all seats were sold out.

A total of six more concerts were added, including Sydney, Australia on May 2, Melbourne on June 7, Oakland, USA on June 12, Houston on June 25, Chicago on July 29, and Toronto, Canada on July 3. In particular, Sydney and Melbourne concerts in Australia sold out all four additional concert tickets that opened on March 23.

TWICE will hold a performance at the KSPO DOME (Gymnastics Stadium) in Seoul Olympic Park from April 15 to 16. They will hold a concert in a total of 14 cities with 23 concerts.

Earlier on March 10, TWICE released their 12th mini-album “READY TO BE” and started activities with the title song “SET ME FREE.” “READY TO BE” ranked second on the U.S. Billboard main album chart “Billboard 200” on February 25. A total of four albums, the most in the history of K-pop girl groups, were ranked in the top 10 of “Billboard 200.” In particular, sales in the first week reached 153,000, the highest sales of K-pop girl groups ever during the same period.
