The Black Label Confirms Staff Members Fell In An Accident While Filming Trainees

The Black Label has officially addressed the staff falling accident that was previously reported on!

On the 29th of February, The Black Label addressed the accident and confirmed staff members were injured on set while filming trainees.

According to Osan Police Station and Gyeonggi Fire Department on the 28th, at around 12:42 pm, four staff members including a cameraman preparing for a photoshoot fell 6 meters below from the second floor of a 3-story abandoned factory in Songtan-dong, Osan.

The accident occurred when the floor made of sandwich panels suddenly collapsed on the second floor of the abandoned factory. The floor was mostly finished with concrete, but some parts had the concrete removed, leaving only the sandwich panels.

As a result of the accident, one man in his 40s and another man in his 30s were injured in the head area and were transferred to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, their lives were not in danger.

It was reported that the injured were preparing for a photoshoot of a male idol trainee under The Black Label, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment founded by Teddy in 2016, with artists such as Taeyang, Zion.T, and Jeon Somi.

Out of the 4 injured, 2 are staff members from an external production company, and the other 2 are employees of our company. They were immediately taken to the hospital for thorough examination and treatment for their injuries.
We promise to do our best in collaboration with medical professionals for the quick recovery of the injured, and we will pay even more attention to prevent accidents from happening again on set.
