Former member of the group BIGBANG, T.O.P, had plans to go on a space trip within this year, but it is likely to be postponed.

On the 1st of October, T.O.P shared some details of the “Dear Moon” project reported by YTN through his social media.

In the broadcast, Professor Kim Sung-soo from Kyung Hee University’s Department of Space Exploration appeared and mentioned the “Dear Moon” project.

The “Dear Moon” project is a project aiming to be the first civilian lunar flight. It is being conducted by Japanese entrepreneur Maezawa Yusaku, who will fly to the moon’s orbit on SpaceX’s spacecraft Starship.

Professor Kim stated, “It should have already happened. However, due to the delay in the development of SpaceX’s Starship, it seems impossible to go this year as originally planned. It may take a few more years.”

T.O.P had planned to participate in this project and go on a space trip, but the possibility of it happening immediately has become slim.

Recently, the idol was cast in the highly anticipated Netflix series “Squid Game 2.”
