Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun apologized for his comments about SM Entertainment’s parking fees.

During his guest appearance on SBS Power FM’s “Dindin’s Music High” on the 23rd of January, Kyuhyun explained his previous remarks about feeling upset with SM Entertainment after transferring to Antenna.

The DJ, Dindin, asked, “Did you express your frustration about having to pay for parking fees at SM?” Kyuhyun replied, “I said it as a joke, but it caused a big controversy.”

Previously, Kyuhyun had expressed his frustration on JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” on the 20th, saying, “After transferring to Antenna, I went to SM to practice because of Super Junior, but they asked me to pay for parking separately. Even though I’m a member of Super Junior.”

Regarding this, Kyuhyun explained, “When I have schedules, I use my own car. I couldn’t register the car under the company, so even when I was at SM, I paid for the parking fees, but SM reimbursed me.”

He continued, “After leaving SM, I heard that we were paying for parking fees ourselves. I thought it was too much, but I later found out that SM also pays taxes for that building and the employees also pay for parking fees. I realized it was my misunderstanding.”

He also mentioned SM’s response, saying, “They didn’t get angry, and they told us that we also pay for parking fees. They said that both registered and non-registered vehicles pay. I sincerely apologize for my mistaken words. I thought it was only happening to me, and that’s why I said it with emotion.”
