Former (G)I-DLE Member Soojin Will Not Be Appearing On Music Shows Following Solo Debut
Singer Soojin who has decided to solo debut after her withdrawal from (G)I-DLE will not be seen in domestic activities for the time being.
According to the industry, Soojin will focus on overseas activities rather than domestic activities for the time being. On the 8th of November, Soojin released a single album titled “Lady” and made a comeback in the K-pop industry.
In response to this, a representative from her agency BRD Entertainment stated, “There are no scheduled music broadcast activities, and she plans to communicate with fans mainly through social networking services (SNS) and YouTube.”
However, regarding domestic activities, the representative mentioned, “It is not clear at the moment,” and said, “A fan signing event has already been held, and it is planned to continue in the future.”
This decision is seen as a response to the pressure surrounding the school violence issues involving Soojin.
