NewJeans has recorded the largest number of listeners among fourth Generation K-pop Groups on Spotify.

On September 12, ADOR, citing the recent Spotify record, said, “NewJeans sets a global long-stay record by breaking into weekly charts with three title songs from their debut album, including ‘Attention’.

First of all, NewJeans’ record was set right after achieving 8,812,913 listeners, the largest number among fourth-generation K-pop groups, in terms of monthly listeners.

It is also notable that the group has entered 200th place in the U.S. with “Attention” and achieved the “Weekly Top Song” chart in a total of 17 countries, including global, Korea, Japan, Canada, and Australia (September 2-8).

On top of that, it is also noteworthy that the second and third title songs, “Hype Boy” and “Cookie,” were ranked 14 and 6 on the charts, respectively.

This record can be hoped to show the position of NewJeans, which is getting popular in some parts of the world, ranking 36th in “Today’s Top Hits,” which introduces music and artists who are influencing the global market.

Meanwhile, NewJeans is a girl group introduced by ADOR led by CEO Min Hee Jin and wrapped up their debut activities on August 28. They swept the top music charts at home and abroad and won a total of five trophies on music shows, creating a sensation at the same time as their debut.
