The girl group ‘BBGIRLS’ will make a fresh start as a three-member group!

BBGIRLS’ new agency, BBGIRLS Company, announced on the 22nd of April, stating, “After discussions, we have decided to end Yoojung’s activities as a member of BBGIRLS.”

BBGIRLS Company also stated, “We have respected the opinions of the members regarding Yoojung’s decision. We sincerely thank Yoojung for dedicating herself to BBGIRLS as a member for a long time, and we will continue to support her wholeheartedly.”

As a result, BBGIRLS will continue as a three-member group with Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna. They will be managed by the agency GLG, which also manages the girl group ‘High-Key’. BBGIRLS Company will support the members in focusing on their music activities.

Brave Girls debuted in 2011. The group went through a series of departures and new member additions, and in 2016, the second generation of members was formed with completely new members. The second generation started with seven members, and Minyoung, Yoojung, Eunji, and Yuna remained.

In March 2017, their song ‘Rollin” released, and it became a popular girl group hit in early 2021. In the same year, their title track ‘Chi Mat Ba Ram’ from their mini 5th album achieved a continuous broadcast record, solidifying their stardom and becoming an “icon of hope.” However, in February of last year, there were speculations about the group’s disbandment as the exclusive contracts with Brave Entertainment for all four members expired. In April of that year, they signed a new contract with Warner Music Korea and continued to explore new activities.
