Group JYJ member Kim Junsu is set to appear on a terrestrial entertainment program for the first time in 15 years.

On the 3rd of April, KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” confirmed to MyDaily, stating “It is true that Kim Junsu will be appearing on ‘The Return of Superman'” and added that he will be introduced as a close uncle of a child due to his friendship with BewhY.

Kim Junsu’s appearance on “The Return of Superman” after 15 years is drawing even more attention. Previously, Kim Junsu has appeared on various cable channel programs such as “Miss Trot”, “Call Center of Love”, “Taste of Wife”, “Miss Trot 2”,  and many more.

However, he has not appeared on any terrestrial entertainment programs since 2009. His appearance on MBC’s “Share House” in 2019 was a current affairs and culture program, while his appearance on SBS’s “Nightline” in 2021 was a late-night news program.

Earlier in February, Kim Jaejoong of JYJ also made headlines by appearing on KBS 2TV’s “Newlywed Diary” after 15 years of absence from terrestrial entertainment programs.

Meanwhile, Kim Junsu will be holding a joint concert with Kim Jaejoong in Korea and Japan at the end of this year. The Korean concert is scheduled to take place in November at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium.
