His solo single ‘Seven’ achieved the fastest 100 million streams (unfiltered) on the world’s largest music platform, Spotify, showcasing its immense popularity and impact. His achievement surpassed Miley Cyrus’s ‘Flowers,’ which took 7 days to achieve the same milestone, making ‘Seven’ the fastest song in Spotify’s history to hit 100 million streams.
Adele’s ‘Easy on Me’ and Harry Styles’ ‘As It Was’ both took 8 days to reach 100 million streams on Spotify. Jungkook, with ‘Seven,’ also recorded 50 million streams in just 3 days on Spotify, further showcasing his immense influence and popularity worldwide.
Earlier, Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ made history by topping Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart for 9 consecutive days, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to achieve this feat. Additionally, from July 14 to July 20, the song also secured the top spot on the ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ chart.
‘Seven’ made its debut at No. 1 on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart with 15,995,378 streams (after filtering), and Jungkook set a new record as the first Korean solo artist to enter and top Spotify’s Global chart simultaneously. He also debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song US’ chart, making him the first K-pop artist to achieve this feat. Additionally, with ‘Seven,’ Jungkook achieved the highest daily streaming debut for an Asian artist on Spotify’s global chart after filtering, and he also ranks 3rd for the highest daily streaming debut worldwide before filtering and 5th after filtering.
On iTunes, ‘Seven’ topped the iTunes Top Song chart in 113 countries/regions, and it remained at No. 1 on the worldwide iTunes Top Song chart for 8 consecutive days, proving its global success.
