Lee Do Hyun is making fans’ hearts flutter with his sweet speech at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards!
On May 7, the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards was held and many actors attended including Lee Do Hyun, who is currently serving in the military. He was given permission to attend the award show.

the Best New Actor award for the film category was given to Lee Do Hyun for his role in “Exhuma.” Lee Do Hyun, who attended the awards ceremony while on military duty, started his speech with a military salute and said, “Actually, I just came out of the military this morning. My comrades told me to prepare a speech, and now I regret not doing it.” He then expressed his gratitude, saying, “I sincerely thank director Jang Jae-hyeon for choosing me for Exhuma. I was so happy to act alongside senior actors Choi Min Shik, Yu Hae Jin, and Kim Go Eun. And the other senior actors took care of me so well.”
He continued, “While filming Exhuma. I was also shooting two other projects, which could have been challenging and disruptive for my schedule, but the senior actors and my sunbaes were very understanding and supportive. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to them.”
Finally, Lee Do Hyun concluded his speech with the words, “The role of Bong-gil was difficult. The lines were also very challenging. However, as someone who believes that there is no easy acting in the world, it was a big challenge and opportunity for me, so I prepared diligently and worked hard since it was a great opportunity for me. Thank you so much to my beloved father, mother, younger brother Woorigae, and Jiyeon.”
