Singer Kim Jaejoong is still struggling with sasaengs [obsessive-so-called stalker ‘fans’] more than 20 years into his career.
On the 22nd of January, Jaejoong shared a video on his Instagram with the caption “Taxi drivers waiting at every stop” along with a video.
The video shows a sasaeng riding in a taxi and following Kim Jaejoong. In another video, Kim Jaejoong tells the taxi driver, “Don’t come to my house. There’s no after-party tonight,” but the taxi driver confidently responds, “It’s my passenger,” using the excuse of having a passenger.
Jaejoong criticized the drivers who profit from tormenting and trampling on someone’s precious time and emotions. He stated, “Times have changed. Yesterday, we recorded the black box footage of all six vehicles, and we plan to collect more in the future. Those of you who collect privacy and human suffering deserve severe punishment,” and hinted at taking legal action.
Kim Jaejoong expressed his pain, recalling the frightening remark, “‘I will definitely visit the wedding venue if Jaejoong gets married.’ I hope you go to jail. It’s been 20 years. Let’s stop here. It’s been a while since I developed a habit of looking back while eating or walking,” he shared. He added, “I’m busy. The time on the road where you make money while running away. Isn’t it time to let go?”
On this day, Jaejoong also revealed a business card of the sasaengs taxi that offer services of following singers and actors, the card reads, “Are you still just watching your favorite star on TV? Meet them in person. Other than dramas, through tours,” and confessed to being a victim of such incidents.
Meanwhile, Kim Jaejoong has been suffering from privacy invasion and stalking crimes by sasaengs since his debut as a member of the group ‘TVXQ’ in 2003.
